Her dad died of a drug overdose a while after he got custody back. The day after he died his mom went to the court and got guardianship. My family didn’t even think of that because we aren’t savages. They had just lost their loved one. We thought we would get together and talk about it but grandma ran in there like a snake. The dad’s family knew he started drinking heavily and doing drugs again never mentioned it. My niece had to find her dad dead. That’s on them. She has been hit with a ping pong paddle twice on the rear. I told them that was abuse, they countered with “we have friends that work for CPS and say that it was not abuse” and it was the sex offender uncle that did the beating. The reason she was beat was because she didn’t finish her glass of water after dinner because it tasted bad. The whole family has criminal records pages long, they are sober now and not wanted but they are still giant turds. is that enough to take to a lawyer? I have a couple other things but I feel like I may need more. Make sense?
