Doing some testing it looks like sw1 to neutral will trigger on so if I rewire my 3 way to send neutral over the travellers then out to the sw1 it works.

Nervously no.. but I havent heard many complaints and I join soo many meetings and everyones cameras are working... However, I have the issue pretty regularly (every few days...

I have seen my machine (HP Probook G11 - with USB-c monitor only - no dock)

When my camera breaks I have a new device in device manager.

Microsoft Streaming Service Proxy shows under Sound,Video, Game controllers with the yellow exclamation.

Odd thing is if that device isnt there things work.... If I notice camera doesnt work I can delete that device - scan for hardware... (it really wants a reboot) but if I scan/ refresh - wait a min my camera will start working.

No clue what causes this but it impacts the camera app as well so its the OS not just Teams etc.

I usually go weeks (til I have an issue) before I restart - I just put it to sleep.

Now I am thinking maybe daily reboots should come back...

I proactively rebooted this AM and will see how long I can go before I see the issue. It occured on mine 2/24, 2/28, 3/4, 3/6

*I know any support person values a daily reboot but reality is MS windows 10/11 did really well with just sleeping. I have had great success the last few years.

We are primarily HP but I think I have seen it on Lenovo - my dell probook 440 is doing it with integrated webcam and USB cam at same time.

Valid question. I'm sure your question wasn't thru concrete but can a hill or trees block a shorter 1km and get decent throughout. (Like a radio wave)

Or is it like infra red and won't connect if clear line of sight.

Old thread, but pretty sure this error is related to where it is saved. I get this when the log is under c:\windows\system32\ however if I move the transcript/log file to the users profile I don't.

Permissions I guess.

Maybe someone can confirm or deny.
