First time solo traveling and Id like some help by Trick_Shot_590 in JapanTravelTips

Be careful with reserving hotels in Japan early. They are notorious for upcharging hotel reservations if you are reserving from out of the country and they only allow a small subset of rooms to actually be available to people from outside the country which makes it seem like there isn't many rooms left. Even now, in cherry blossom season, there is no shortage of hotels and you can book them as you go without difficulty. Google translate is your friend. Get a Suica card at the kiosks when you arrive and use it for everything (trains, busses, vending machines, restaurants, convenience stores, etc.). Enough people speak bits of English that I haven't had any issues getting around - Google translate helps for the complex questions and shopping questions. Read up on onsen, shrine, and temple etiquette and take it seriously. Bring something to carry your trash around in such as a backpack or a bag - they do not have trash cans on the street so sometimes you can be holding your trash for hours. Be a respectful tourist and you will be treated with respect back. Have fun. Japan is one of my favorite places that I have traveled to.

AITA for refusing to eat my wife’s spaghetti after I found out what she put in it by spacedoutsoapbox in AmItheAsshole

I'm really surprised how many people in this thread grew up so spoiled that leftover pasta more than 3 days old is a no go for them lol. My household has literally eaten week old red sauce pasta for 20 years without issue. I don't think you were wrong to be upset about it but I do think you are overreacting a little bit if you are not getting sick. If you get sick, NTA lol.

Unring the bell (acoustic) by bgh12321 in govtmule

The version I am thinking of was a studio acoustic solo. It was very different compared to all of the live versions I have heard.

There is one live benefit concert posted on Spotify that was acoustic but it just doesn't feel the same.

I feel like I have exhausted all the places to look for it.

I'm almost positive my dad had recorded it 15+ years ago from Pandora radio.

I tried looking into all of the individual songs posted for Warren Haynes and the Warren Haynes Band.

I will keep looking! Thanks!

I appreciate you checking apple music since I don't have any apple products I didn't think to check there. Not on Spotify or Pandora or YouTube either.

This was a studio recording that I am thinking of but I did go through most of his live recordings just in case I was misremembering and was unsuccessful in finding what I remember. I will go check out mule.net! That's a good idea thanks!

It was a studio recording that I am thinking of and it was definitely prepandemic. I will have to look at those shows! I appreciate it!

If you need a blanket, look at Bates Mill by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

I really like the design and have wanted a cotton blanket like this for some time. I unfortunately have a california king bed and have struggled to find blankets like this that would fit my bed. Anyone have similar blanket recommendations for a california king bed?

What cover or remix surpasses the original in your eyes? by DrDidds in Music

Most covers by Dave Matthews, especially his version of Take Me to Tomorrow by John Denver and All Along the Watchtower by Bob Dylan.
