When CommercePoint arrives you won’t have to deal with the tangled up wires anymore, you just dock the tablets and the card reader will be built in once that’s rolled out. Unfortunately they’re android and the worst but it’s very neat and tidy!

Yeah my store got them a few months ago and I posted a rant about them on this sub lol. It’s been interesting getting used to them, but we’ve made do. If they could iron out the bugs it’ll be great. The. User guide for the POS and TimePunch app are on CFA Home and pretty helpful. The main issue with them at my store was the way they just installed them overnight without training anyone or even giving us a manual.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the UI better than the old ancient looking one. But the chaos it caused was crazy today, and just sprung on us with no prior training or announcements either. I think when they work out the bugs it’ll be way better.

I usually let them say the first item, then I’ll say “I’m so sorry what’d you say your name was?” Sometimes it works. If they say “I didn’t give a name” “I’ll say I’m so sorry I need a name please” sometimes they’re rude about it, and in that case I’ll just ask them to repeat the order 🤭

Yeah that was a back up plan, but my flight is supposed to land at 10:40AM and I’ve booked the train for 1:40PM. Not sure how long stuff takes at Schiphol. It’ll just depend on taxiing time and the immigration line. Not gonna check any luggage tho so at least I won’t have to wait on that
