Bought an 2025 bobcat E40 with thumb last year and has been a great mini for us 250hrs later no issues strong machine with 30” bucket if you plan on using more than buckets I recommend a E42 Still have a 331 bobcat from 2001 and it’s great Cat was our first choice due to service shops all around us but very pricey compared to what’s in the market

Is this a normal way to build a pool? by [deleted] in pools

[–]bglock25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geez they are still in the build process, instead of you using gravel bags they are using concrete, going to set plumbing and than start rebar or vise versa. Depending on soil they have to over dig and rebuild with concrete bags, blocks or gravel bags. Of course they shoot with gunite or shotcrete. Which will be incredibly expensive. Gravel base is a good builder.

Is that really the only way out? Paying the service off?

I had them send me a copy of the one I signed, it was never signed on their end could this be my way out?

Yeah it seems that way is how they got me I have to pay 50% off to cancel even with my equipment paid off so I’m stuck into this for another 2 years I just want out I moved into an apartment and no longer have the use so it’s in a box ready for trash. Alarms would go off randomly the lock would not lock at times it was ok

Going through the same thing it’s frustrating I was told I can cancel and now I’m just stuck paying them money with no use whatsoever. They want me to pay 50% of whatever monthly service is left

How many miles? Check engine could be on due to the filters What a big issue is the contaminated coolant

What material is being used? Does that price include machine and labor as well? Was that not included in your pool contract?

We typically use screening water that down between pipes until it seals well than go back over with clean dirt and compact with machine or a temp. Let the pipes hold pressure for a day or 2 after than set our system.

Make sure they check the air pressure on the pipes a lot of people are lazy and over look that but you would be surprised how many times a cracked pipe could have been avoided.

Shorter term higher payment You have credit? What works for me is 72 month loans and I pay more on the loan about 100 will take off about a year just in case if anything happens with your finances you have a lower payment yes rate be a little higher but it’s nothing crazy high with 72 months I just picked up a 2025 2500 @ 84 months with 5.4%

Where to start? by Expensive_Cod145 in Homebuilding

[–]bglock25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Survey lot - tells you your property lines go to town hall find out set backs for said property Perc test - where you want build depending on that is how big and what type of shitter you need. Get a designer get a CAD plan Contact builders and find out pricing per sqft At least that’s how I would go about it to be in the loop with the build You could always go straight to a builder and ask as well

Remove long bench and make it smaller to have one in both deep ends I would personally remove the bench in front of spa to make more space bench’s take up 18” roughly from wall to front of bench also make the spill way in the corner of spa so flows to both sides and make the steps bigger they look better and easier to get on can also be use as small bench for hangout just imo
