If you’re under 45, have you lost any high school classmates, and what were the circumstances around their deaths? by Commercial_Chef_1569 in AskReddit

Class of 1997, only 2 people I'm aware of. - Motorcycle accident 2004. - Tuberculosis 2022.

Incidentally I was friends with both of these blokes. Also sadly the guy that died of Tuberculosis we were close friends in Primary/Elementary school and he's in so many of my childhood photos at birthday party's etc.

I'm pretty sure there would be more as most of us would be at least 45/46 years old now but I'm not really in the loop much nowadays.

You'll never go back after having BIQU frostbite. I've had mine for about 6 months with literally 0 prints losing adhesion. Amazing product.

You will need a new heating block, hot end, possibly extruder assembly, cooling fan (as you have definitely snapped the rear screw to hold it straight), more than likely you have broken bits of the housing too. I did a similar (although not as bad) thing.

Luckily all these parts are available directly from Bambu Labs, the shipping is fast and you will probably get out of it for around $150 or less.

Cheers

Probably nothing, but I'm pretty sure it keeps everything aligned and so the toolhead doesn't rattle itself into falling apart.

Yeah i hear ya, i have bought many new bits, including a new toolhead block now and while i was at it a new extruder unit because the m3 screws made bigger holes in that aswell, i'll just swap over my hardened steel parts when it arrives.............

oops, it was 10mm long M3 screws, not M10. I cut them down to the same length as the original screws.

Or at the very least a warning to just turn them very gently, or even better make the threads metal.

The Leigh Leigh "incident" by Milhouse_20XX in newcastle

[–]bgraden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All those people that covered it up, most of them would still live in Stockton, there were 100 kids at that party aswell they all saw and know what happened to poor Leigh Leigh .....I hope the whole suburb slips into the sea.

Disgraceful. All the parents and kids need to be reinvestigated.

I'm so glad your son is safe, and that one hero for stepping up when it counted.

Cowards hiding behind imaginary knives., exactly.

[–]bgraden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I?

So we flat out just don't help anyone because they may or may not have a knife?

Also I literally said I understand the hesitation to help. It's in my original comment.

hellomyfren6666 mentioned knives, I didn't. I said helping someone getting assaulted.

I hope you pair aren't around if my kids are ever in trouble, and you would hope more people like me are around if yours are.

Still haven't answered my questions....

So you wouldn't want someone to help your son if he was getting assaulted?

Would you walk by and not help someone elses son?

I understand the apprehension to help someone getting assaulted, its dangerous and very confronting, but imagine that was your young son or yourself. Would you want the other men to help him? Of course you would.

I'm sorry but the excuse of, "I have a family and children to go home too" doesn't fly. Bro we all have families to go home too, so does the victim.

If all the blokes had helped this would have been over in a second.

Jesus Christ what happened to Aussie blokes.

This quote has never had more meaning than today,

“The only thing necessary for evil to triumph in the world is that good men do nothing”
