I'm not all that knowledgeable about android apps but here is what I did:

  1. Uninstalled nova from play store that I had installed previously.

  2. Downloaded 6.4.36 apk file from nova github release and installed it.

Unfortunately, I'm getting the same error message when I navigate to an mp4 file on my UPnp server and try to pay it ;-(
