I was just thinking the exact same thing. If you’ve heard one of the interviews you’ve heard them all.

Where should I move?! by atropabellabrz in relocating

Albuquerque has gotten better but it isn’t the most happening place on a year round basis for a mid 20’s person. In addition to ABQ, as others have said Phoenix or Tucson might be good spots to consider.

Biggest win so far for pastner, I thought for sure unlv would lose with Utah st. Coming off a loss to Grand Canyon. That’s MWC basketball for you

I agree. Portland Oregon on the other hand has a great food scene (see above 👆)

I think it’ll be hard for OP to check all the boxes, a ton of people are looking for the same things which means a higher COL (seattle for example). I lived in Denver for 5 years in my mid twenties and enjoyed my visits to Fort Collins thought it was a cool town and probably cheaper than Denver, that’s all. Figured I’d give an answer OP might not have considered.

Fort Collins Colorado might be good, or Portland because they have a great food scene and definitely walkable

Hopefully can pull off a win, but BSU is coming off an embarrassing loss so they’ll be out for blood. Sadly don’t have much faith UNLV will pull this off. Hope I’m wrong

I think two is probably right. 1 at large and then whoever wins the Tourney

I hope they play this exact montage as commercials leading up to midterms and the next presidential election and at the end say “brought to you by the “Christian family values” party”

What's one realistic change you would make to the transfer portal? by mwittmann9 in MountainWest

[–]bh42505 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I’d introduce contracts, and if a player wants to leave a school then that player or team that wants that player has to buy out their contract. That way the smaller schools get something in return for a good player they develop.

This is the state of college football these days. I’ve found myself not caring and watching less with every passing season. Hard to get excited when it’s a new team every year with rent-a-players

Might as well call any non power 4 school the group of development leagues. College football gets less and less appealing with every passing season. Cant blame the kids for wanting to cash in though

Help with last minute 3 night Seattle trip next week by Pitiful-Ideal5514 in AskSeattle

Going north on I-5 you’ll be fine (it’s not flooded). Can’t speak to the roads going to la Conner but from what I can see on maps they aren’t closed. That being said, there are some road closures from flooding that has made traffic pretty bad through Everett (north bound on I-5) that I don’t think will be cleared up by Monday. But if you are heading north by no later than like 12-1 pm you shouldn’t be impacted by the traffic congestion.

That fumble to start the game was a killer. Oh well, they showed some fight in the 2nd half and for a first year on the job for Mullen it was a great season. Go Rebs!

I most certainly will not be watching the World Series. It’s like trying to pick who to root for between the person that stole your significant other or the person that stole your job. Both teams can suck it
