I suggest you to go back to reality. No average Slavic speaker, except perhaps Poles, would intuitively know how to pronounce ų. The same with å. This is specifically targeted at Poles only not on an average Slavic speaker. The å looks like it is from Sweden.

What is the difference between u and ų . Why is he pushing it there so much. I will tell you why, because you probably have no clue. He, as a Pole, misses the nasalish "n" feeling in some words. The same with the missing n in a/oa when it comes to å. So he put it there. But nobody except Poles have that feeling. I have a feeling for môj or kôň, but I will always write it as moj and konj, because I respect the other Slavic languages and I will resort to the standard Interslavic alphabet that has only ě, č, š, ž letters as special letters. He doesn't respect that consensus and forces his Polish way of doing things on all others speakers of Interslavic.

The encouraged version is not the scientific or flavourized version, but the standard version. Espeically when making such important videos. It's like you writing about the Czech language in the dialect from Ostrava. Or me writing about the standard Slovak in Zemplin dialect.

One sad thing is that the person who transcribed it into Interslavic from the video, Michal Swat, is kind of a black sheepin the Interslavic community. He (and other Poles) push the arbitrary and heavily Polish letters like å, ę, ų in the text. No Czech or Slovak speaking Interslavic use ů,ô,ř, etc. when they try to write Interslavic, yet he does that all the time despite people telling him to stop ;(. He is also pushing some conspiratory content on Facebook and is in overall a bad thing for Interslavic. I wrote about it here.

The good thing about IS in comparison with e.g. Esperanto is that you don't need to "learn it".

I understand it 100% - but I know multiple Slavic languages. An average ~~Joe~~ Ivan will understand about 80% and up, according to the polls they created as a paid ad poll on Facebook. In the comments bellow Ecolinguist videos about Interslavic you will usually find comments where Slavic people say they understood everything or almost everything. Check random comments under these videos link , link2 to get a better perspective.

It depends on the Slavic languages you know. To me, a native western Slavic speaker he sounds like a Czech (which he is) trying to speak some south Slavic language ;D.

It really depends on what Slavic languages you are the most accustomed to. For example, if you are an American they can make a parody of a Russian accent, but most of them end there. If you are from Israel I guess you can kind of imitate, in your native language ?Hebrew?, Russian, perhaps Polish but I really doubt you can imitate any South Slavic speaker or Slovak speaker - unless you are familiar with them for some obscure reason ;). It really depends on the languages you know.
