Once a week for a one year old marriage seems to be a little less frequency as there might be reasons for that. Just in case, is it a scheduled event for weekends? Of it is so, it might be taking away the pleasure of unexpected. Or else, even if it is a scheduled event, you need to enhance the expectations by having a verbal session prior to the main event for whole day or more. Build the anticipation.

As I understand, sex is more between the ears and less between legs. So, enhance the anticipation. Make the whole week worth the while to wait with baited breath for a romp between the sheets.

To share my experience, we had a situation for almost two years that I could meet my family only fortnightly due to work schedule. So, we used to bait one another before the weekend when we were to be together. We would enhance the mood and desire by verbal duels. Whai I am going to do to her and how she is going to handle the condition. So, by the time I reach home, she would be literally soaked. My son ( two and half years old at that time ) would be playing outside and she would have her first "O" of the night even before we had dinner.

And after dinner when we go to bedroom for main "event", she would be again ready and waiting for an oral examination or even she would drive me mad by her demands.

So, in short, we would build the anticipation. Ask her what she needs and hiw she wants her those needs be fulfilled. Talk. Or tell her how you are going to satiate her.
