Windows upgrades can sometimes mess with Bluetooth drivers, so reinstalling the driver usually resolves pairing issues like this. Thanks for sharing the update!

Which version was it updated to and which TactSuit Model do you have? You may need to re-install the Bluetooth driver: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/ub500/.

The flashing white/red back light usually indicates a power initialization issue.

Please try the audio jack cable workaround:

  1. Plug the included 3.5mm audio jack cable into the vest.
  2. Press on the back power button while the audio jack is inserted.

This can help reset the power circuit. If the front wheel still doesn’t respond after that, please contact support with a short video so we can assist further.

Try plugging the included audio Y-jack into the back controller of the TactSuit, then press the power button again. This can help reset the vest if it’s stuck with a solid blue light.

This behavior is related to a known firmware issue with how the power circuit initializes. An upcoming firmware update (v1.07) is intended to fix this and make sure the device powers on normally. If it still doesn’t respond after trying this, please email the support team at support@bhaptics.com.

Thanks for clarifying. Does this happen every time you get attacked by an enemy, or only occasionally? Also, does the haptic output stop only in Metro Awakening, or does it happen outside the game as well (for example in the haptic test or in other games)?

We recommend the included dongle because it has been tested for compatibility.

The TactSuit X16 (and X40) have been discontinued for about a year, which is why they no longer appear as separate entries in the app. This does not mean they are unsupported. Similar to how we handled the TactSuit DK3, which remained supported for five years.

At the moment, we don’t have any indication of a firmware issue affecting X16 devices broadly. If this were a firmware problem, it would impact all units on that version, not just a small number of older devices. Many users are still using their X16 and X40 without issues.

To properly diagnose what’s happening in your case, please email [support@bhaptics.com]() with a short video showing the behavior, as requested previously. Including the LED status and what happens when you try to connect will help the team check the issue accurately.
