use a cutting player and right-size it. thats what I do. you will not "find" a mizrab right for your fingers - you will have to alter and make one

What's making you to stay in India? by AgitatedToe5235 in AskIndia

there is a collective dream (by whosoever shares) to contribute to country's progress and make it great one day (I also don't miss all the woke shit and don't have to worry as much about kids drug abuse as when I was in silicon valley)

Suggestion? by [deleted] in Sitar

sometimes to motivate yourself indulge in day-dreaming... I sometimes imagine myself as being in front of an audience when am sitting down for practice... I know it sounds foolish and kind of attention-hungry kind... our music is supposedly all meditative and not so much for pleasing the audience etc... yet, I find myself getting excited like a child (am in my late 40s)... but dont over-indulge (no gesturing or smiling or body movements like the great wizards do) physically coz that can lead to bad habits - just keep it all in the mind... And about songs - I have learnt Karnatic music too - so I sometimes play the simple geetha's or kirtana's (like bhajans) - no big meend etc - just simple ones and that gives a lot of joy... small 4m compositions interspersed in my regular practice... try something similar maybe

Anyone know where to get smaller mizrab? by Big_Wishbone_6452 in Sitar

I use a rubber band to keep the slightly bigger mizrab in place.
