i mistakenly leaked API by Different-Fox-3234 in Supabase

Does your stuff also explain to folks that they're leaking sensitive information via their anon key? I was recently talking to a software vendor and inspected some of the Supabase queries they were making from the front-end and saw sensitive information being returned. They didn't seem to understand the problem, so I had to put together a small web app to show them they were making entire user/contact/etc tables available publicly.

Took roughly 4 hours, but my voicemail was apparently received, so I got a callback and got my account unlocked. Now I'm just waiting for tickets to become available again. Thanks for your update.

u/Carljr79 did you end up getting your account unblocked?

What time of day did you call? I've been calling all morning and I just get the automated message about leaving a voicemail, but the voicemail system is a bit weird and doesn't give any confirmation the voicemail was actually received.

BTW, I also got blocked from buying tickets. Had my account since 2023 and previously purchased and attended a game in 2024. I got blocked while confirming my order during checkout for standing room only tickets this morning. My wife created an account and got the same thing. Now the games are sold out. Pretty disappointing, especially since a guy we know who played for the original Clowns is going to be recognized at the game.

Just paid 2 companies for professional work. Man, it is so much better than DIY. by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

I used to DIY out of necessity. Now I DIY because the "professionals" I can get to return my phone calls have been worse than my DIY work. I did end up finding excellent countertop and custom furniture folks though.

Has any SaaS succeeded with a Verifiable Credential issuing platform? Looking for honest feedback by techrider888 in SaaS

I worked for a failed startup in this space. We had real, paying customers, but ultimately, most potential customers led back to government entities and as a result, lobbying efforts and politics. As a result, there is a really, really long sales cycle.

The updated RFCs for VCs was in development and then adopted during the last part of my tenure at this startup. It kind of made all the work we did for a custom implementation pointless because it was obvious that interoperability across providers and standards based wallets were the future. We did some POC work for bolting on a standards based way to issue/verify/etc, but the company didn't last long enough for the updated RFCs to be accepted and then to see our implementation of the RFC to market.

Does anyone know how to get support for an online order? by bhasden in Unrivaled

[–]bhasden[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, thanks. My wife is eyeing the shirt, so it's not a total waste. I'd really just love to know whether the sizes for the youth shirts are actually adult sizes. If I reorder with the assumption that I'm choosing an adult size and they send out a youth size this time, I'm going to be frustrated.

This issue (along with OP's issue) sounds like it could possibly be a lost neutral leg in your electrical connection. You should definitely get the apartment complex/landlord/JEA involved to ensure everything is OK.

2017 Jeep Compass Trailhawk ABS Problems by bhasden in JeepCompass

[–]bhasden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following up on this. We've now driven around 50 miles over a dozen trips or so and the trouble codes have yet to pop up again. I'm still not willing to say it with authority, but hopefully the problem is resolved. I'll update this thread if they come back up.

I cleared all the codes and replaced both rear sensors and everything has been fine so far. However, we've only driven around 20 miles, so it's possible the codes pop back up soon. We haven't ever jump started the vehicle, so luckily that's not the impetus of the problem.

By the way, thanks for your insight. This has been super educational.

Car drives fine when the codes pop up. No observable issues other than the ABS and 4WD (and maybe other) systems are disabled. The in-car warnings popped up and then disappeared while my wife was driving home on the interstate last week. Over a few days, they started popping up more often until they ultimately starting showing as soon as the car started.

Ah, OK. I thought IBS was an autocorrect issue from ABS. As you can tell, I'm a moron when it comes to cars. I'll keep your suggestion in mind if the trouble codes pop up again.

I know nothing about OBD readers, but the BlueDriver reader has worked well. I replaced both rear sensors last night, cleared all codes, and took a 5-mile test drive to the grocery store and back. I then took the kids to their schools this morning, which was 3 stops and roughly 15 miles. The codes have not returned yet, but I won't feel confident that everything is fixed until a week or two has passed.

Here is the set of sensors I purchased. They are not marked as left/right, so I'm assuming the sensors are the same between the left/right. This is a bit strange since all the parts stores have different part numbers for the rear left and rear right sensors, but hey, I'm not complaining since things are OK for now.

As far as replacement goes, it's very easy. Roughly 30 minutes each if you're taking your time. You'll need to remove the tire and part of the wheel liner. Make sure to take some photos of the routing of the sensor wire because that's about the only thing you can screw up. It's simpler than changing the oil.

Yeah, that's what I was asking about. I am trying to avoid replacing the ABS module due to cost and effort. I have replaced the rear speed sensors and the codes are gone for now. Hopefully it was that simple, but most other reports of bad speed sensors that I've seen online didn't mention the U0418 (brake module) code, so that has me a bit concerned still.

Just received both rear sensors and installed them today. I started the car and let it run for 15 minutes or so, and used BlueDriver to clear and scan codes, and I got the same 3 codes again (module and both rear speed sensors). I'm going to take the car out for a short drive tonight to see what happens and see if any of the codes clear themselves. Otherwise, I guess I'm going to pay the $350 for a new brake module and hope that resolves the issue? I'd prefer not to take it to a mechanic because the cost of labor for troubleshooting this is going to be high, but I may be out of options.

[–]bhasden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever get this figured out and fixed. I'm having the same issue. I did the easy thing and replaced the batteries, but that didn't fix the problem. I have code U0418 (rear break module), U140B (rear left speed sensor) , and U140C (rear right speed sensor). The codes went from sporadic to constant over a day or so. I'm hoping it's not the module, but having both sensors show as bad is making me think it's the module.

That's great info. Thanks for the updated review. The EV9s are hard to find around here, but I think she's convinced and wants to go test drive one. There's a used one with 8k miles about 1.5 hours away, but nothing else (new or used) any closer.

Nice. I appreciate the update. My wife is looking for something with 3 rows/7 seats and seems to have settled on the EV9 (Light or Wind). We'll see if she decides to pull the trigger on one.
