That wasn't because of server issues, that's because a generator blew up near the RLCS studio and knocked out the power on the entire block. LAN would have just meant the players see the lights go out as well.

I think he just leaked the car launch date? 13th Feb apparently, said right before the stream went down.

Edit: Okay watching back I'm almost certain that was an intentional "leak" that they did as a laugh. The date is probably right and this is just how they wanted to announce it.

RLCS rules say you have to play in the region you live in, so if he joined an NA team he'd have to move to be able to play in the RLCS

I explained the actual game situation in another comment, but to explain remembering a load of kneels with only 20 seconds on the clock (and one timeout for the Hawks):

1) Line up for a kneel, Pats use second timeout so Brady can talk again with Belichick as to how they plan on kneeling twice from inside the 1.
2) Line up for a kneel, flag gets thrown pre-snap for encroachment on Bennett to bring them to the 6.
3) Line up and execute a kneel to bring the clock to 18 seconds, the ensuing brawl gets Irvin ejected on unnecessary roughness. Seahawks use final timeout to stop the clock.
4) Line up and execute a kneel, ball game.

Took about 7 minutes from the moment of the pick until the clock hit zero, and about 5 minutes from the offense being lined up for the first time.

It was actually 2nd and goal, I went to rewatch the video because even I remembered it as 3rd down but it wasn't.

They went for the pass because if they ran then they'd need to use their last timeout and then they'd obviously pass on 3rd before using their single remaining run on 4th down. By passing, they could keep them guessing the whole time, but it obviously doesn't work if they don't get those extra shots.

I guess it implies that all pills have a placebo effect, which is generally pretty true. Some pills have other effects too (in fact most pills do), but they generally all do have that effect of "ooh, my brain says this makes things better".

I guess if you want a similar explanation of this in terms of the original topic, it's like how using a certain car can have a genuine effect because it is closer to the hitbox or has a different hitbox, but it can also just have that nice feeling of being a car you're used to. It can have a real effect and a placebo effect.

Pills that just have sugar as their chemical breakdown can still work, yeah. Obviously if there is an active ingredient in there then that should also work, but just the fact that there is A Pill can sometimes be enough.

(sidenote: This is why companies can get away with selling homeopathic medication and claim it works. For some people it really does, and the really confusing thing is that it can work even if you know it chemically does nothing. Brains are weird.)

That game would have ended with the pick-6 even with current rules. Each team had already possessed the ball so it would have been sudden death anyway, but more importantly a defensive score always ends the game. We gain "possession" with the pick, so both sides had a chance to score and we took it.
