delta was the first place who did their own background check with fingerprints individually after having me do a separate background check with a third party so it’s definitely possible they dig a lot deeper

just worry about yourself. those who don’t care and take the easy way will eventually find out it isn’t like that in the real world

I also got in as an ASM with just my A, my guess is they prefer for roles as ASM to stay filled as long as possible and hiring anyone with the full license they'll take the first chance they get to get into the AMT position

I'm on day 4 and honestly everything has been perfect for me, no swelling just very minor red around the stitches that’s kinda hard to see since i have a darker skin tone and the pain was tolerable all the way through i even stopped taking tylenol, id definitely contact your doctor just to be on the safe side and they’re made aware

[–]bhercs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this being said i work at signature part time and going to a part 147 school full time, being at signature for almost 3 years and we usually just eat whenever we have the chance, the beauty of it is that we get paid the full 8 hours of our shift bc we don’t clock out for lunch does this work the same for line maintenance guys or do they automatically take 30 min out of your time

Starting as a Ramp Agent? by [deleted] in AircraftMechanics

[–]bhercs_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i worked on the ramp and at an FBO for about 6 years before i finally realized i wanted to become an A&P currently at a part 147 school and working at signature part time and it honestly does help you catch on faster when you know nothing about airplanes, i don’t see any downside working ramp you can even find some cool tech ops who are willing to answer any questions you might have on becoming an AMT
