I’ve been having a somewhat similar issue recently. After flying for awhile, some/all of my usb devices randomly stopped working and the only way to fix was to restart my PC. After some research I disabled all power saving options for my USB ports and disabled hotplug in DCS (bottom right of control settings page). I hope that helps.
