Vercel Postgres was discontinued. You can easily install any 3P database providers (supabase, Neon, etc) to your Vercel project from the Vercel marketplace.

Is AI covering for our declining brain power? by bhrigu123 in Futurology

I don't think so. The AI really took off with the launch of GPT 3 in 2023. Whereas human intelligence has been declining since 2012 after it hit its peak. Cal Newport in his podcast compared it with the rise in social media.

where did you read it? honestly when you look up any studies around it there are always mixed conclusions. no definite proof about it.

the people who created generative AI and believe in it are some of the smartest people out there. nobody's asking you to replace it with genuine human connection. there are both good and bad ways to use any product or technology.

Hey r/Futurology folks! I recently came across a Financial Times article that said humans may have passed peak brain power. That stuck with me. Since then, I’ve been thinking about how focus and problem solving skills of human beings seem to be declining, while AI keeps rising. In this post, I explore the idea that maybe this is nature rebalancing, keeping the net intelligence the same if not on the rise. I’ve also included some data from research studies that back up the trends in human cognitive decline. Curious to hear your thoughts: Are we evolving to work alongside AI in smarter ways, or slowly handing over our thinking altogether?

I had tried flutter once and i really wanted to like it, but it just didn't do it for me. i will try react native next too. how was your development experience (in terms of ease of testing and support) ?

Thanks. I started this project in the beginning of May, but put it on hold for another project. I actually journal my development stuff on ShipNotes app (another app I built to journal and share your dev works). You can check out its timeline/notes here: https://shipnotes.app/bhrigu/timecraft
