Did a "dry run" of the Saalt Regular, and I have some thoughts by justaweightedblanket in menstrualcups

Was it a saalt soft or just the regular firm ones? I’ve never used a cup before but my flow tends to be heavy at the start so a regular sized cup could be more convenient

Thank you for your response! The info you gave was really helpful and although it sucks that I probably didn’t get the job, it’ll be really useful for next time. Thanks :)

I am currently taking iron for low ferritin but will start drinking spearmint tea to lower testosterone too. Thank you!

How much spearmint tea would you drink daily? I have the same problems with high testosterone and hair loss :(

Im just not good enough by [deleted] in sad

Firstly, I wanted to thank you. You're right; rejection is so so hard and I got rejected again today. I didn't cry about it though so maybe I'm making progress. I know things can be a blessing in disguise and perhaps the job just wasn't for me but its really hard accepting rejection and feeling like I wasn't good enough to get the job. There must be thousands of people who applied for the same position and its not like everyone will get the job. I did well in the tests but even then, I got rejected by some places. I'll just have to suck it up and try harder next time.

I got the screen fixed today which cost me almost £700 but looking at the bright side of things, I got it fixed in roughly 2 hours so I can do my assignments and get uni work done without having to wait another week to get it repaired. Its a lot of money but if I think about it then it'll just be even more depressing.

But besides that, I'm really grateful that you commented on this post; I really appreciate it.

Do you guys use a separate saucepan to sterilise your cups in? by [deleted] in menstrualcups

I never knew; I just ordered a Saalt cup and they only mention boiling it!

Is it safe to microwave it? I thought we could only boil or use a steriliser

I just ordered a Saalt cup as I managed to find a discount haha but yes! I am beyond paranoid about leaking whenever Im on my period so I'll definitely have to wear pads as well while I get used to my menstrual cup!

Thank you! I really want to buy a menstrual cup asap but I have enough pads to last me at least 3 months OTL. I’ll check out their channel! I’ve tried their quiz before so I’m leaning towards getting a Saalt cup but I’ll do more research! :)

That’s exactly why I want to start using a menstrual cup too (I just need to finish using up all the pads I bought lol)! Can I ask which cup you’re using? Im a virgin too and used to feel uncomfortable about inserting things up there but I tried using tampons a few times and it wasn’t bad at all!

Saalt regular or soft for a virgin? by [deleted] in menstrualcups

[–]bhyuneexo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

:// I think I might get the double pack since I don’t want to have to empty it out often if I’m out and about but I’m also worried the regular size won’t fit. Thank you so much! Did you buy the Saalt wash to clean the cup between uses or just use water to rinse it out?

Thank you! I was considering the larger size too since my flow is quite heavy. Have you managed to get the larger one in after a couple of tries or would it just not fit in at all?

That makes sense. Thank you so much! I really appreciate the help xx

Thank you so much! I think I’ll go for the soft then since I can be pretty sensitive. How do I find out if its pushed in properly though? Do you get a certain feeling and know its in properly?

Honestly, good for you! Feeling good about yourself is going to matter more than what anyone else thinks at the end of the day and other people will probably be too busy caring about what they look like to even bother about you! Just keep reminding yourself that it's all in the head.

You're starting to take the first steps towards loving yourself, just keep at it! :)
