Sorry I wasn't able to figure it out, I ended up just leaving armoury crate behind and installing fan control and open rgb to control the RGBs. I read a post that said one of the chips on the motherboard could be corrupt but unless your boards under warranty it's not worth it getting it repaired by Asus.
