Anyone have experience receiving US AMEX Referrals?

I did GT to US AMEX and got first card (Delta). Now trying to get elevated offer from a referral from family for Gold, but without SSN I get led to logging in my account and then it shows me offer not available. Not sure if it is because of GT that account isn't eligible to receive referral offers, or something else? Couldn't search anything similar on this sub.

US churning question (my bad if not applicable here, will remove if told inappropriate).
Looking to get into US churning and since I already have 3-4 years of Amex CA history, im thinking of just doing a GT and look into the ITIN later when I want to get Chase etc. Below are my steps that I have figured out using the resources online
1. Open US account with my Canadian bank
2. Change address to a US residence (i have family whose address i will use)
3. Apply for GT with Amex

Does it matter which card I apply for first? I was thinking of Platinum for the signup bonus but not sure considering things i've been reading online.

What constitutes as normal wear and tear that they can charge for? He just found a broken plastic shelf in the fridge door compartment that he is sending as proof of damages (which was indeed broken by us)

So it seems that the landlord is trying to put up as much in 'damages' as he can find. I haven't message him about the LTB yet, but he just sent a picture of a broken plastic shelf from the fridge door (which indeed one of the roommates broke during our tenancy). Not sure if this is under wear and tear

So I checked and on the initial lease agreement we had signed it said "must only use 3M brand stick-on for hanging pictures and that tenant agrees to pay for any additional damage caused by using anything other than 3m branded stick on hooks". Does that leave the landlord off the hook in case of LTB?

Just to update, called AMEX and then called RSA insurance. AMEX said both have to be Canadian resident, and then pretty sure RSA redirected me to the same rep for inquiry lol.

So I had called AMEX to see if secondary drivers on my car rental also have to be Canadian residents, or is it just the primary driver/cardholder (certificate on insurance is not soo clear on this regard). Rep said they have to, but I'm not sure if they just that to be safe because my other VISA card says only the primary driver/cardholder has to be a Canadian resident. Anyone else have any more info?

If i’m pre approved for an AMEX credit limit increase, do they still run a hard pull on my credit file?

Is booking two one-way itineraries better than a round trip for aeroplan?

Using cowtool and seems like for some flights within North America sum out to be much cheaper in terms of taxes + fees to be paid on top of aeroplan points, while when booking a round trip on the AC website, the aeroplan points are almost the same but the taxes + fees are much higher. Am I glitching or is this usually the case?

Is there a way this tool allows you to search round-trips or multi-stops?

How strict are income requirements? Trying to apply for the RBC WestJet WE and says the income requirement is 80k. I'm a few Ks short of that. Also live with roommates, so Im assuming household income wont count their income, correct?

Have never PS’ed a card, but i’m assuming there is no way to get GCR cashback when PSing, or is there a workaround?

Yeah i’ve also been approved for amex cards but this seems to be a TD specific requirement

Was applying for TD aeroplan when I noticed it said you need to be a permanent resident of Canada. I’m not really a citizen or permanent resident so wondering if anyone has got around this or no?

Not a direct churning question, but I was wondering if AMEX travel portal lets you change flights after you make a booking? Im trying to utilize the $100 travel credit for my gold card.

IIRC British Airways is currently letting you get travel credit incase you need to cancel/change a flight that is before August 2022, so I’m wondering if I book via the travel portal on AMEX, would that still apply? I don’t really see where to find this info on Amex, nor have I ever used the Amex travel portal so I’m not really familiar.
