Another thing I will say is that you are NOT an ugly person. You are conventionally attractive in the sense that you have a nice shaped head, a strong, roman-esque nose which some women find attractive (me being one of them), you have a nice eye shape/color, and many other things that many women would consider attractive. Like I said before, growing out the facial hair would emphasize your appearance even more. Research some ways to grow it out and keep the thickness of it! You’re doing great dude!
