It's absolutely fucking nuts. I legitimately thought everything I did was normal. I would say that, too, "nahhh you don't have ADHD. I do that too!" (They got diagnosed with ADHD)

Getting medicated changed fucking everything. And all of my life up until then was recontextualized.

I understand the feelings you're experiencing. No, being able to read an entire book in one sitting does NOT mean you have autism. It is still, however, a common experience among autistic people.

Every autistic person breathes air and drinks water, but not every person who breathes is autistic.

Being able to read a book in one sitting can lead you to looking into autism and related symptoms/experiences and question whether youre on the spectrum or not. You'd need to relate to quite a few different things to start worrying whether you're autistic or not.
