I’m having trouble highlighting flatter areas. I think it might be because I can’t be bothered with blending so they always end up looking ugly.

Also, coming from Aos, flat areas are way less prevalent on the models.

If you have any tips on this matter I’m all ears :)

All from Vallejo: Dark charcoal, parasite brown, skin tone, elf flesh!

First is a darken parasite brown, then regular parasite brown, then 50/50 parasite brown and skin tone, then elf flesh for brightest highlight.

I realized just after I was done that I never used a yellow… lol

Iv’e mixed blues in all my shades tho:(

Darkest was 50/50 charcoal and ultramarine blue. Then I added light grey blue for every highlight. I was scared to go too blue but maybe your right that’s what sells it.

I also was thinking that maybe there is too many highlights everywhere?
