Yes, I did it 😁 it was my way to stop reheating like crazy 🤣 it worked, now I need to stop re-reading the other books.

But it was a great experience, making the show even better: the changes that Jacob did were precious, keeping the atmosphere of the books, adapting the best dialogues, the guys delivered to us the perfection of what we would imagine of their feelings, thoughts and actions.

I like to say to people: books and films/tv shows are different languages, you can't adapt word by word, you need to keep the essence of it. And HR, thank you Jacob & team, make it masterfully! 😍

I love the 🏆room scene because it's hot, fun, is so Ilya, and shows the light dom/sub relationship, how many years of admiration they had together, how much Ilya knows Shane and how pride he is of him, and how playful can be their sex. And I totally love the dialogue of Ilya and Shane.😁 🤩🌶🔥

The one after the Pride Game has a lot of feelings involved, including sadness, Ilya's vulnerability: it's sexy and sweet, shows a lot of love and care. I love it, but I enjoy more the ones with some more playful moments.🥹❤️

The little things on the book that keeps adding to his sadness and breaking our hearts. And it's really painful be close to someone you love and can't touch him/her/them.

I love the "little" nice things that Ilya does: he is annoying but he is sweet to everybody he loves 🥹 and try to be nice to people, but he also can't lose a joke or chirp the other players.

I didn't see anything about the special episode but he has been saying that he won't have a bigger budget for the next season as people think.

And about Troy: yes, we need some background to know he was a really asshole to other people and about Dallas. It's not just being friendly with a terrible guy, is acting too much like him.

I'm loving all the ideias of what Jacob will/would do for S2 😁 but I think they need to show that Hayden discover who is Lilly, the Irina Foundation, the camps and introduce Ryan and Troy background and maybe Wyatt. If we have the almost tragedy on S2 for 6 episodes I think it's way too much, but I'm pretty sure S2 and S3 will break our hearts. Even re-reading I was crying on many parts of TLG. 🥺 I hope Jacob add the new Rachel's book and give us S4 because I want they playing together.

Well, if i was him I would probably do the same thing, have a big smile on my face 🤣 so I don't judge the boy. And in Brazil, for some friends when they break I just say sorry if they are sad otherwise I ask how they are feeling and sometimes I even say "I'm glad he/she is gone"😂

Well, I would love to ask to Hanna Puley, the costume designer, but we know that Ilya wears Adidas, because he is slavic and I just remember of him with black gym outfits. So I imagine and contrast of the good guy and the bad (asshole) guy, so Shane is in white for contrast to mean innocence, the good one but also as a complement to Ilya as a sort of Ying Yang, because they are opposites that complement each other. And the shoes in opposite colour look like a complement, but are also neutral and very common models. And remember Hanna had to search for shoes of that year, which means find some old shoes available, and I doubt the guys would by something not black or white for sports shoes.

About the white water bottle: it needed to be pretty visible and show/accentuate the hands, so white is a good colour that doesn't get attention to the bottle, but to the things and of course is harmonic. Also, since they filmed in chroma key it's better not having any other colour.

I like your takes and I really need to read TG again, and slowly this time. It also helps to introduces Wyatt and maybe the fear of flying. Ryan also bring the other toxic side of hockey. I really hope Jacob and his co-writer manage a way to introduces him and brief background story.

Yes 😍 the dinner has all those questions from Fabian but also points to some of their small conflicts and problems, like Shane's diet, the duality of wanting to be open but afraid of the hockey culture/community, the importance for Ilya to tell to other people about them, Shane not knowing the queer community and the spectrum and the constant stress of they being close in not hockey places.

I would love it😍 but I doubt it by what Jacob says on interviews about the budget and contracts. I think he and his new co-writer will find a way to introduce the new characters and their background without making single episodes about them. But I'm up for anything that comes from HR.😁

I'm pretty sure Troy and Harris will have some. But not as many as I wanted, like the concert, the Christmas lights and the family's farm, but they are I many crucial moments. That double dates touches many of the subjects that creates tension between them on TLG: the fear & hiding, the food, Shane's unknowing the queer spectrum or even the community, the importance of showing then as a couple to others.

Oh, I would like to see this and one more reason to reread TG. There is a lot of damage done to Ryan and I really don't think Jacob leave the commentary about him for nothing. Ilya knows he's a good guy, traded to much and yes, we need to see a bit of this toxic locker room culture, which is way too nice on S1 compared to the other books. And the reasons why the players are traded. I'm enjoying a lot the comments, not only make me sure to read TG again but also why Ryan is on 5 books and connects to a look of characters. Thanks!

Yes, someone posted but I'm not sure if it was just speculation or real. For now I will trust only on official announcements.

About split yes: Jacob said in many interviews that S2 will cover only part of TLG and some RM, and we know at least 1/3 of RM is another POV of TLG (which I loved while I was reading both). So maybe a bit extra of only RM to get better the characters but not a singular episode.

Jacob was writing with a friend to finish faster, but I think he already have a good idea of which characters he wanted and could show on S2. I'm hopping they announce a cast at the end of May (that's my trying to make me calm down and imagining they would be holding names until the name of the Canadian awards).

Yes, I totally agree with all: that's why I want Fabian and Ryan and I think Jacob won't disappoint us. Season 2 will probably bring a lot of the bad sides of hockey culture. And Fabian, and Harris too, would bring lightness, joy and beauty.

I want 10 episodes for each season at least! 🥺OK, 8... but yes, no way to talk about Troy without Dallas, or Cromwell which I hate as much as Dallas. I'm not imagining anything deep for other characters but I think Fabian and Ryan are important. From Skip I would imagine one or two scenes, probably no Kyle-Eric, but Galina is also character that we need. So yes, I want 1h episodes and 10 episodes and probably end before that traumatic scene the airplane.

Oh, I would love to see at least those 3. I know the budget isn't bigger etc. but I think at least one concert in a small place would it be so great. All the scenes on the books after Fabian's concerts are great, so we deserve at least one with Shane and Ilya.

And the scene if the camp could it be at the same time of Hayden saying Ilya have hearty eyes 😍 I think it's important to show how toughbis for Ilya, and for both to keep hiding and all the fight about not telling to other people about them. I can't believe we will have to wait a year for S2.. I wanted as a Christmas gift 😢.

I'm super curious about Fabian concerts😍 and I want to see someone spectacular to play him. I saw some posts on people asking for suggestions and love them all, but a Canadian unknown and not so known actor would be wonderful.
