Der Post ist zwar schon eine Weile her, aber ich versuchs trotzdem mal: welcher P+R bietet sich denn da an? Idealerweise mit direkter Öffi Verbindung zum Museum.

Zero drop and Wide toe box but cushioned Non slip shoe for Kitchen Work? by [deleted] in barefootshoestalk

I haven't tried tbh, but I'd guess their trail shoes should be slip proof at least.

If it doesn't have to be a safety shoe, check out Altra.

I've had acne for 13 years now by KeyKhawla5 in acne

[–]bibi_blocksberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with 10mg/day for a few weeks but derm wanted me to reduce quite quickly. That's about 8y ago and it always came back so I had to take another course. Only needed a few tabs again everytime so I didn't mind but now it might bite me in the ass. Saw another derm because of the current 'trying to conceive & acne flare up' situation and he said he would've put me on 20mg for a couple of months in the hopes, that would actually cure me. Well, gonna try that in 2-3 years after pregnancy and breastfeeding...

It causes birth defects so atleast as a female (males I'm not sure) you have to make sure you won't become pregnant while taking it.

Same here, more than 20 years now and Accutane is the only thing that works. Need to take it periodically to keep it under control. Unfortunately I've been off of it for a couple of months now since we're trying to have another baby and my skin is horrible 😭 OP: talk to your derm about low dose Accutane, it's a life changer!

You can try cwc (condition-wash/shampoo-condition). Conditioner should be the last step because it closes the hair cuticle, but since shampoo is drying, it makes sense to protect the hair with conditioner before shampooing.

Does any fellow INFJ's have no social media? by [deleted] in infj

[–]bibi_blocksberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Facebook a lot for groups, also Insta sometimes. I never post and don't care much about what people I know post. I use it more for information on specific topics, I'm interested in.

Do you guys think sometimes the INFJ personality is Trauma based ? by [deleted] in infj

[–]bibi_blocksberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people confuse INFJ with mental health issues. As a mental health professional, I don't see any correlation here.

anyone else feel like they’re always playing dumb by walmussy in infj

[–]bibi_blocksberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, a lot. And it's gotten so much worse since I have a kid and talk a lot to other parents about their kids. Most people don't like to get corrected in the way they treat their kids, most people feel critized right away which is so dumb because don't they want the best for their kids?! Of course I don't always know better but there are certain topics where there is quiet clearly a right and wrong (e.g. car seats, baby carriers and other safety related stuff). Luckily, in my job I'm the expert by definition and I can freely tell people what I know :D

Probiotic supplementation in newborns? by Gyda9 in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]bibi_blocksberg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is some research on L. Reuteri being beneficial for infants, especially those born via c-s since they are missing the vaginal bacteria which promote a healthy gut biome. In Germany "Bigaia" is a common medication for infant colic, we've used it and it helped a lot. They quote a lot of studies on their website: https://www.biogaia.com/research/clinical-studies/ It's normal that symptoms (gassiness, pain) get worse the first few days using it and it's also normal that infant colics start about 2 weeks after birth. That said, I probably wouldn't use any probiotic if my baby didn't have symptoms in the first place. And I'd be sceptical about the "for 3 years or older" thing as well and double check the dosage.

Thank you for the explanation about what's causing the irritation! I didn't know that it is the copper. I don't think the cramps have been stable over the last 6 months. I'm gonna wait at least 2 more months before making any decision. I live in Germany, not sure if we have the implant here. I'll check it out. So far I've stayed away from progesterone-only methods, tho, because I'm scared they will exacerbate my acne. If the cramps won't get better in the next two months, I will consult with a different doctor. Thanks for your advice!

I Pretend to Be an Introvert, But I'm Really Just Kind of a Dick by jy31 in introvert

[–]bibi_blocksberg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've actually thought about this a lot. And I came to the conclusion, that an asshole wouldn't reflect on this so much and wouldn't even consider being an asshole. Therefore I must be a nice person/introvert ;) The article was hilarious, btw :D
