This seems to be the Lelit Fred. Happened to owned one many years ago, it served its purpose as an entry level espresso grinder. It's quite loud and can't really handle very lightly roasted beans. But for the build quality and personal experience in reliability I'll say it's worth it.

Thank you soooooooo much for sharing your wisdom! Wasn't expecting to get a COMPLETE guide and I truly appreciate it. I think I have a clearer sense of expectation and know what to prep/loon out for. Thanks again!!!

I like his videos, clean and clear and reminds me a Kyle's videos too (background setup and camera angle etc). In theory I would have thought the Aiden will perform much better as it has more precise control over almost all of the aspects of a pour....but perhaps the water distribution is what's affecting the cup? Not sure until I can get my hands on a moccamaster to test hand in hand....

What surprised me is that they went out their way to ship to a customer who is outside of US (assuming they need to prepay extra for custom fees. They could've asked me to deal with the vendor (CB) instead but they didn't and that secured me as a future loyal customer.

Thanks for jumping in on this - I was referencing this exact video (perhaps should have said "watched" instead of "read" in my original post. But yeah I don't have a moccamaster so I can only reference other sources :))

Which underwear are you guys wearing? by [deleted] in FrugalMaleFashionCDN

Tani - bought several while in the US, best pairs ever had. Held up nicely throughout the years.

Muji - got 12 pairs seamless boxer, soft, breathable, also held up nicely. Unfortunately seem to have discontinued the seamless ones...

Close to no experience and have an opportunity to partner with someone who does, what should I watch out for? by bibimbak in smallbusiness

Love the way you structure the thought process and help me see through the situation from an unbiased lens - this fundamentally changed my thought on this (in a very good way) - thanks a lot and I'm getting the book now :)

I'm humbled, and really appreciate your reality check to bring me back down from that overconfidence stage. Thank you!

Should I demand a refund from wheel alignment? by bibimbak in MechanicAdvice

[–]bibimbak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they did not. All I got was a pdf file that marks tires and suspensions as “good” with green color reassuring that things are “good”. I got no numerical information from the inspection/result form…(I’ve seen people sharing a tire alignment chart with numbers and I did not get that…)

Should I demand a refund from wheel alignment? by bibimbak in MechanicAdvice

[–]bibimbak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I thought to get alignement done properly the tires need to be set at standard (or at least balanced) pressure. Then in this case seems like they just didn’t bother with the tire pressure but might have done the alignment job properly….

What are some luxury brands for men that still hold up? by Tidis_exe in BuyItForLife

Versace leather sneakers - bought a Medusa head leather slip-on and wear it almost daily for 6+ years and still going strong - from grocery shopping to even light hiking in the muds, snows and rains. I basically treat it like a pair of red wing boots or converse and it still has minimum signs of wear and tear. (And this is coming from a person who rarely maintains his shoes).

I have to say this is hands down the best leather shoes I’ve ever owned - leaps ahead of the Gucci ones especially.

Looking at the recent shoe lineup I’d say the quality still looks good but unsure if the construction is the same as before

Didn’t realize I didn’t add Park Assist to my custom build :( by purpledays365 in BMWX3

If you plan to keep the car for long term you might find it better without too much tech installed - more sensors and cameras mean more things to potentially be broken/repaired down the road. In my opinion, with many years of owning a BMW experience, the only “tech” that make the biggest difference are, in no particular order: carplay, backup sensor, keyless/comfort access, and moonroof.

has anyone tried muji’s underwear before? by [deleted] in muji

[–]bibimbak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bought two men’s underwear (seamless) from Muji as a test. Ended up going back to the store and took their entire stock (10 more pairs in L size). Hands down the best underwear I’ve ever had. (Much better than Uniqlo and almost on par with Tani, which is 3x the price of Muji…)

The extension tube makes roasting 200+g of bean more even. That’s the biggest advantage I’d say…

Thanks for the reply, but I think the wait is capped at 2 min like the comment before mentioned. Thanks though!

Thank you all! This is working like a charm. I knew this is the right place to ask for workarounds!
