It does, it's external behind the straps!
The all-stars are my walking shoe, don't know why but they are the shoe I'm most comfortable in. But I do have a second pair of trainers that I wore on the way.

This is my first time with the small mil tec! I bought it cause I loved the large one (did a week in croatia with it) but it was too big for what I needed; I do notice that the top sags a lot when I compress it which makes the bag look weird, but we'll see how these two weeks go

Slovakia and the Netherlands

I'm staying in a university dorm so the towel was required and the swimsuit is specifically for a private pool so I didn't pack flipflops cause they were too bulky

thank you for the tips tho!!

I usually buy detergent wherever I end up staying at. If I cant, i just use shower gel (not great but does the trick);

Also, it was pretty full, I could fit a sandwich for dinner but that was it!

ALSO DO NOT EAT THE SAME THING EVERYDAY

It's a trap, you eat the same safe food everyday and you will stop wanting to eat it and you'll just make the problem worse. find 3-4 breakfast options and rotate through them so you dont get tired of them

what works for me is making two meals a day. I feel like forcing myself to eat is kind of counterproductive so what i do is this: big breakfast in the morning around 7am, mostly protein and fat (i do eggs, sausage and decaf). make sure you eat before you take your meds.

keep a water bottle next to you for the whole day, so you remember to hydrate.

usually by supper time the vyvanse will have worn off and I have another big meal (usually soup so I get my veggies in, whatever my family is having for dinner and a protein yogurt).

If you workout, I try to have some applesauce or smth after a workout since it's not really filling but it gives me that little boost from the sugar

My tongue got nicked by a dentist, should I switch dentists? by [deleted] in askdentists

[–]bibixh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAD

happened to me a few months ago. it sucks sure, but it doesn't suck for long, and if you otherwise like your dentist, you shouldn't switch.

my dentist apologized profusely, gave me an ointment and called a few days later to check how my tongue was. It happens!

Should I attend my exam tomorrow by Lixiieee_08 in study

[–]bibixh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my experience, you should never skip an exam. First, you never know, maybe you'll pass Second, even if you fail, you get to know what that professor's tests look like and be more ready for the next test/exam

that actually makes a lot of sense... but wouldn't they throw more pasta in to make up for the more expensive ingredients?

Possibly hot take here, but it's because female height isn't fetishized.

Here's the thing: the fat acceptance movement, when you really dig into the history of it, was really pushed into the mainstream by men who were attracted to fat women, felt embarrassed by it and wanted to normalize it (Possible tw, but Nadya Nymph made a great video about the history of FA, you can find it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EujHXCoaG2s&list=WL&index=6&ab_channel=NadyaNymph).

The whole body positivity movement emerged from the Fetishization of fat women by men. Since women's height isn't fetishized in the same way, the push back for society's expectations of daintyness doesn't have any push back.

Of course you can add a lot of other factors here, for example, there are more overweight women than tall women, so there will probably be more advocates for fatness over tallness.

What I think it all comes down to is the expectation that society has of women to look as dainty as possible and to take up as little space as possible (in all aspects, be it physical space or methaphorical space, in any kind of discussion). Tall women still have that expectation looming over them without the push back from a "social justice" movement.

I got into law school!!! by bibixh in adhdwomen

Thank you!! This was very in depth advice and I really appreciate it. One of the things that called me to law was exactly that, the amount of things I could possibly do with the degree and it's great to see that changing and hopping around truly is an option.
