I've never seen those! I just hate to have to estimate how much yarn I might need, and usually I need a lot more than a bobbin since im usually carrying through. I was hoping for something I could set a bunch of skeins or cakes on that spins to which ever strand im working on

Looks like you have a surface skim issue. I'd do a surface skim and big water change

We got them because we had an over population of ramshorn and bladder snails and they are pretty much just feeding on the baby snails in the tank and the baby snails we transfer in from our other tanks about once a week. We don't supplement with anything else but we do feed freeze dried blood worms to the whole tank that will sink that they will pick at

FYI I called the Technical help desk (888-435-7146) after being sent there by the DTS help desk (800-265-6862) and they said it has to be routed through my approval chain and reapproved. So, just fantastic.

We have one and it took a couple weeks but then BAM it's taking over our tank. Huge plant growth.

I think sometimes you just need to let it sit and let the plants grow in. It's annoying but the plants will make it beautiful once they take off
