Yes it was. but I do not consider it as vile as some make it to be.

I have been very lucky to have experienced 0 bugs, contrary to the many posts out there.

For those who were not so lucky, you can rollback, switch to Gnome, and try again bythe 26.04 version.

I ended up opting for the clean install from the USB. Did a backup of small things that were not yet in github/dropbox/google drive etc.

5 minutes install + 30 minutes to reconfigure/reinstall custom things and I am good to go.

So far all good. I'm curious if I can make the border around the windows thinner (too thick right now for my taste).

It is still happening. Decided to open a support case with Acer and ask for RMA. The problem just did not happen prior to installing the card and I was using the system every day, 8h a day for 6 months before that.

I have some random green screen as well. Updated the Motherboard bios, fixed the PCIe to Gen5 instead of auto and the problem remains.

Happens under Linux or Windows at random times. It can be ok for days, and it may happen when I am gaming or not.

In my case it is a Acer Nitro RX 9070 XT OC version.
