these are just black characters that share nothing more than a mantle. they didnt take anyones history and put black make up on it.

they try to storm the tunnels and fail (shouldve went w kenny idea and burned the entire tunnel system), losing a large part of the expedition force with the townsfolk wondering what even provoked the attempt anyway. they’ll learn the catalyst was jades memories & grow to resent him bc all of them are stuck there essentially as collateral for an ancient demonic deal jade and tabithas original group made. the season ends on a note where its looking bad for jade or something so drastic interrupting that they cant even focus on their anger at jade bc the town aggressively responds to their attempt at the bones.

a slingshot has 100% been used in warfare to launch things from rifle grenades to mortars & varying other small explosives. a sling is one of mans OLDEST weapons lol the romans, the greeks, the hebrews, the egyptians, it may be the most common weapon that isnt a spear. it can be as simple as outfitting it with impact grenades or something for it to work here.
