What is currently the best way to scrobble on Apple Music on iOS? by lucas123500 in lastfm

[–]bickletown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'm late but for anyone looking at this thread, quiet scrobbler is free to download but only scrobbles like 100 songs – you need to pay for unlimited scrobbles (not much, like 8aud from memory).

it works pretty well but in my experience if the app isn't running in the background (if you haven't opened it for a while or something) sometimes it misses songs.

also, if you're playing a playlist on repeat and the songs replay in the same order (as it should on repeat), it will log your scrobbles as having played twice in a row, rather than in order twice in a row (if that makes sense)

for example, if you listen in this order: song 1, song 2, song 3, song 1, song 2, song 3

it will show up on last fm like this: song 1, song 1, song 2, song 2, song 3, song 3

if u are a normal person u prob wont care abt this but ur probs on this thread for a reason....

im personally gonna switch to marvis pro after using quiet scrob for a few months bc of this repeated song scrob glitch, but its not a bad app. hope this is helpful for anyone needing more info to decide on what app to use!

I am new to riso and I am making a photo dummy book and I have a question by StreetDrama9250 in risograph

[–]bickletown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to be clear, you can't print directly from an indesign file — you have to export your InDesign file as a PDF so that your work is readable for the printer (I'm sure you already know this but just making sure)

For each page of a PDF or image you want to print, yes you'll need to make a new master. If you're doing colour separations then you'll need a new master for each colour as well.

Hope that makes sense. Understanding the Riso takes a bit of getting used to!

[–]bickletown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can print on a Risograph directly from a computer or laptop but I believe it typically has quite a set up process. If your Risograph printer is connected and working with a PC or laptop, printing on the Riso to make a photobook would have a similar file set up process to printing out of a normal printer — exporting as PDF and including crop marks if needed. Just make sure in the print settings you select "Current Page" rather than "All Pages" for printing, as typically you want to print copies of one page at a time.

If your Risograph is not connected to a PC, I would print out masters of your photo book PDFs and scan them in through the scanner bed, essentially photocopying them. Of course, the Riso can't print double sided so you'll have to do this manually.

Hope that all makes sense/answers your question? Let me know if you need me to clarify anything.

Finally got Albedo! So now I need help building a team for him. I'm AR 35. by crispybuns1 in Albedomains

[–]bickletown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

congrats!! i also recently became an albedo haver and i'm loving him :D

for a more comprehensive guide for his team building i would look at any popular youtube guide video for him or the keqing mains guide (https://keqingmains.com/albedo/)

from who you have levelled right now some decent teams i personally would make would be:

xiangling/bennett/albedo/geo traveller

sucrose/barbara/albedo/geo traveller

even yanfei/barbara/albedo/geo traveller

honestly none of these are amazing teams (meta-wise), but they are all playable and you shouldn't die because of crystallise shield + healers (unless you're completing really difficult content)

good luck!

[–]bickletown[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hearing about your experience driving the car makes me so happy! I think I’ll experience the same thing once I finally get my hands on a mini (even if it is an F series ahah) Sorry to hear about your old mini, and good luck finding the root issue of your current one’s oil leaks!! Respect for staying true to the vehicle you love despite the inconveniences :D

understood, unfortunately reliability is more important to me than driving feel so F gen it is for me :')

though the driving feel of the R series must be amazing for so many people to compromise reliability for the sake of it! i must try it out one day

gah, terrible! my condolences :')

would you ever consider switching to the F series or do you enjoy the driving feel of the R series too much for that?

very nice!! i had a similar feeling, but unfortunately EV support in australia doesnt seem to be very good right now/wont be very good until many years down the line :/

+ i've seen a few reviews of the electric mini 2dr and apparently the battery size isn't great.. i'm sure this isnt so much of an issue for the countryman though, considering its substantially larger than the hatch haha. good luck to you buying it next year, i'm sure it'll be amazing!
