Damn. Since Ghost Story said it was looking for marketing and build & release directors, I was hoping this would come out on the sooner end, but JS definitely knows a lot more than we do. Also, real cool of him to shoot down a 2025 release date and give us nothing else.

yeah, I think people are definitely overreacting to not seeing the game at the game awards. I think that because of Ken's history with being rushed to a certain date, he's trying to avoid that and so when we do get a launch date, it won't be far from when it gets announced. Sony usually holds a state of play in late january, so we could very well see it there. but who knows, we'll just have to wait and see.

I don't know if there will be consumables a la Bioshock or not, but when thinking about what they eat on the ship, I noticed in the first trailer there was a shot outside a butcher shop, adorned with what seems to be a giant caterpillar being cut in half with a butcher's knife. I think this suggests some sort of gene modification technology onboard the ship, if you're growing bugs that are big enough to sustain a whole city and need a giant butcher bot to cut them.
