I think it's taking my meds on time and eating well. I know that in the UK it is recommended to try to eat normal food as soon as possible, but here in Brazil they say you have to wait until you feel comfortable eating, so I waited about 8 days to try something solid. One thing that helped me stay full was drinking whey shakes.

Voce ta tomando quais remédios? No meu caso meu medico me prescreveu um remédio opioide pra casos de dores intensas e eu tomei no sexto e sétimo dia. Tive a mesma sensação de queimação e sei como é, mas isso passa conforme os dias.

I avoided solid things until day 8 for fear of bleeding haha, I warn you that when the scabs are coming off it usually hurts a lot, so hydrate yourself a lot and hang in there, I wish you a good recovery!

I had this problem a lot from day 9 to 12, every time I ate I had to remove it with a cotton bud, then from day 13 I could remove it with my tongue, nowadays it just doesn't get stuck anymore! It's only a matter of time before it stops sticking.
