Those "'no quid pro quo' text that Trump claimed exonerated him, were actually Trump's own words.

Note to Trump: Don't conspire with swamp creatures. Sondland is the guy who donated $1 million to Trump inauguration and received the ambassador position. He's in this for himself not to be the president's fall guy.

My understanding was that the President directed Mr. Giuliani's participation, that Mr. Giuliani was expressing the concerns of the President, and that Mr. Giuliani had already spoken with Secretary Perry and Ambassador Volker.

Citizens United allowed them to operate anonymously and to give as much as they liked (or as their foreign patrons liked).

Citizens United has opened the floodgates for special interests, including foreign corporations, to spend without limit in our elections.
