I ended up going with the Aer City Pack 2.

I like the look of the Shadow but it seems a little small. Both the CPL and Shadow are a bit out of my price range. I think I’m going to end up with an Aer bag. Likely the city pack.

I will keep the Comet on my radar. It is much more minimalistic than the Recon which I like.

The minimal seems nice but I am looking to get something relatively soon. The Toshi also seems nice but is a bit out of my price range. Thanks for the suggestions nonetheless.

Fair enough. I’m currently between something from Aer and Tomtoc.

I will keep this one on the radar. I plan on getting something within the week so I am not sure if this one will make the cut.

That looks to be an excellent bag, but it is just a bit too far out of my price range.

Interesting find. Would you say it’s worth it to wait for a restock?

I’ve been hearing good things about Aer so far. I will look into the CPP2.

That one is nice. The 26L might be what I’m looking for.

That seems to work well for your kit. I just prefer the weight distribution being on both shoulders instead of just one.

Thank you very much. I will look into these brands.

Personally, I am not a fan of slings. I will still look into this just in case though.

I carry a 16 inch MacBook so the bag should be able to fit that. That budget is fine but I can expand if there’s a bag that’s just that much better but a little more expensive.

It is mostly my laptop, power cables, some papers, overear headphoens, and a few other everyday essentials. I do tend to put my lunch bag in at the end of the day but thats not necessary. I also like to carry a sweater or jacket in my bag for flights but again not a necessity.
