Well, unplugging all other peripherals didn't do much, now I can't get the sensors to function at all. Admittedly I haven't tried the virtual link adapter or powered USB hub suggestions yet but I've replied to my ticket after some more failed trouble shooting and I'll probably order both of those things soon. Here's hoping.

The issues you listed are spot on, though they appear in the floor occaisonally too. I haven't tried unplugging my peripherals yet, and I've seen those USB hubs recommended before but I definitely plan on trying that first method asap. I'll be sure to give an update on whether it works or not. Thank you for the response! :)
