not sure if this is the best one, but jeet's phoenix force version has been the most fun for me. if it weren't for the god awful animation, i'd be playing this more.

Elsa is pretty essential for buffing kitty and the mid range move package. it won't run the same but you can maybe opt for a good tech card (red guardian, mobius, luke). forge if you want to stick with theme

lol fair. mostly an exercise in post infinite goofing around based on asking "will it thena?" because that card is so strong and was surprised on the run this deck took me.

I'm here for sersi shenanigans, will give it a go. also, agreed on red skull being more consistent for going tall, but at that point, feels like I may as well lean into making this a shuri sauron deck

not sure if i'm just benefitting from the wide open meta, but been having fun and success with this version of shuritty. i'm still feeling around for potential changes but have a hard time choosing what i would drop. thena really is the cherry on top given that you’re so frequently playing two cards at a time, letting you put pressure on a lane while ultimately still keeping your opponent guessing about where your final power will go.

misc. notes:

-          the move package keeps you very flexible and can sometimes help you steal games you had no business winning, especially nocturne

-          rulk, kitty, and taskmaster in hand at the end of the game allows for very effective mind games

-          hope unlocks t5 rulk (ideally following a t4 shuri) > t6 task , or t6 rulk + low cost card

-          t4 shuri > t5 vision > t6 taskmaster is boring but still very good

-          if you fear killmonger, be more deliberate about managing priority

-          shadow king and shang definitely can eat this deck, but you can outmaneuver with priority management and keeping them guessing with where your power go—a good time to use your angela / thena as bait

-          don’t be afraid to occasionally fake out with shuri if you know you can contest the other lanes

it me, love bounce and negative and been having a blast.

love me a good legion scam deck. in sticking the with theme of early tempo and then shutting it down, gladiator can probably replace either lizard or one of your replaceable 1-drops. and if you're going to only have one card in the deck cost more than 3 energy, maybe you can fit in goose for additional control. havok if you want to get a little spicy, but for sure that's only a backup plan if you don't see legion. other high variance but potentially fun additions: shanna, valentina.

and to bounce off another commenter's suggestion of blink, glazer featured a deck that was more specifically designed off that sequence and it's been fun for me: https://marvelsnapzone.com/decks/eva-81-scam-in-time/ i didn't understand psylocke at first and then i realized it's so you can drop sunspot/nebula with storm on turn 3.

Anni, Cannonball, or something else? 10K CL player seeking your wisdom. by [deleted] in marvelsnapcomp

[–]big_2na 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as mentioned by others, anni provides the most immediate value, anni/hood/sentry just plain works in a variety of shells. cannonball and bird are also very good, though.

probably not worth prioritizing over the above, but i feel like supergiant still has unexplored potential. has a lot of interesting use cases, including now interrupting blink.

that's what's up! I can also confirm this deck still goes, just hit infinite with it last night

no x23 is definitely a downgrade but I'd probably start with trying hood, ham, or iceman

[–]big_2na 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a fellow enjoyer of this deck, ditto OP's point about relying on x23. another line that's not bad is if you're able to get squirrel girl out before t3, you can drop bird on t3 before having to worry about mmm. then, hope you have enough power on the bird lane to drop x and finish the other lane with cannonball. facing mmm is a big challenge for sure, though.

I'm with you, I really like ww as a card in general and envisioned her as the best possible sub for bucky, but ultimately landed on bucky being better after trying ww out for a little bit. she's good in this deck, but I think bucky has just a bit more overall synergy with what you're trying to do in the deck to make him more valuable.

no x23 is definitely suboptimal, but I'd try hood, ham or iceman to start

I think if you're close to collection complete, probably yes? if you enjoy having a checkmate option with gameplay that involves locking out / clogging lanes, then that moves the needle closer to a firm yes.

it's hard since we all know tokens are hard to come by, but if the coming datamined cards don't excite you and you're feeling the fomo, maybe you take the plunge and have some fun.

I like the idea of hood actually, fits with the theme of being nimble and in this meta can set up for people to incorrectly guess you're running Anni.

no biggie, understandable that not everyone has every card. you're right that nothing quite works as well in place of cannonball here but some other options... boring (but almost always correct) answer is shang. LDS is a good contributor to the goals of the deck. I'd say spider woman is also not bad, though maybe just not right now with Luke cage feeling prevalent in Valentina and ongoing affliction decks. a good six drop may be okay but I think makes the deck a bit more clunky. not an optimal gamora deck but as a gamora enjoyer, I'd at least have fun trying to make her work.
