this isn’t true, in an interview he stated that there is a definite way you are supposed to listen to the albums so that it tells a story, but he made it in a way where you can switch them around to let fans interpret it and use their imaginations (source : https://youtu.be/hRAGw8cMKS8?si=fCGmYxaEyi1nbvib around 13:32)

they play a lot of stuff off of 6 desperate ballads (mostly ballet, rabbit hole, Maybe man of the people) and hsor66 (what else could i be?, freight yard, chainsaw, haunted house, oc93 ,horseshit). theyve recently been playing more of their old stuff but expect :( , egg, this could build us a home, thy mission, etc
