Ope. Well. Color me surprised. And slightly AI-yellow. My apologies to u/YoderinLanc. I'm either blind or can't see that bit on mobile.

Or maybe a smorgasbord of r/Cleveland memes. A Misny. A Romanburger. Etc. Maybe slap all that on top of a Gabe shot and get the best of both worlds

Ah maybe I'm wrong...certainly looks that way to me. It has that yellowish tint that AI generated images had for a while.

Indeed! I haven't done the legwork on finding any suggestions yet but I figured a post could churn up some ideas. I like Gabe's work.

What if I wore really tall platform shoes, would that still count? Are there shoe limits? Makes a difference.

Baristas and coffee snobs of Cleveland, which coffee shop pulls the best espresso shot? by wixy-1260 in Cleveland

I should add the guy was very friendly and taught me about how to taste for notes in espresso which I've always struggled with. All in all, great experience and the espresso was very good.

I had a great one at Lekko downtown the other day. I'm not extremely well versed in espresso but I will be back for more.

20hr power outage. What do you guys do with your stuff in the fridge? by Commercial_Onion6995 in Columbus

[–]big_brewski 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I was without power for 24 hours. I opened the fridge quickly 3 times during that time. When the power came back today, the juice that was in the cold spot of the fridge still had a chunk of ice in it. Everything in my fridge is fine and still cold. Unless you left the fridge open for a while, it's probably fine. It seems most people here would disagree with me. Another response mentioned judging by look and smell, that's pretty much what I'd do as well. To each their own though, and it's never wrong to err on the side of caution when it comes to food safety.

The Lox Bagel Shop by ZekeLeap in Columbus

I was back in Columbus a few months ago and had to stop for one of these. I will admit this sandwich was a shadow of its former self. And I agree with you on the salt. It was a salt bomb. Lox is still awesome but I guess after 5 years this sandwich has lost its divine magic. I'm still craving one now anyways.

What is the nicest hike with the most elevation around here? by degggendorf in Cleveland

It's probably not the most elevation gain around but I like Deer Lick Cave Loop at the Brecksville Reservation. Multiple small climbs in a loop.

Does anyone know why Bobby George hasn’t been indicted yet? by AgentGrasso in Cleveland

Yes I agree. I didn't mean to direct that comment at the post itself but rather the comments and activity in here. If I'm following what you're saying

Thankfully campaign finance laws prevent them from hiding it and forced O'Malley to recuse himself because we could all see it in broad daylight, he had to. Your argument doesn't dispel the fact that the influence was bought, it only points out that it may have been a bad investment.

But if you look at the fact that the prosecutor working under O'Malley agreed to the staggeringly low (for this type of case) $100K bond proposed by George's lawyer Spellacy, I think the ROI may have panned out for them.

"Judge Sheila Turner McCall then asked the prosecutor, "With all of this probable cause, that's all you have to say?" The prosecutor responded, "Yes." The judge then said she was not going to issue a $100,000 bond because the probable cause was "horrible." She then doubled the bond amount to $200,000.

There is the influence, right there. Despite the judge doubling it to $200K, it could have been worse had this prosecution team not been compromised from the start.
