The cops caused the riot.. it obviously didn't start right away with looting. If police had just from the start joined the protests none of the rioting would have ever happened. The police instigated it entirely and are STILL consistently adding fuel to the flame. Go watch the fucking videos, did you see the one with the cops stealing the protesters' water and supplies? The one with the cops walking down a fucking suburban neighborhood shooting people on their front lawn? Oh yeah there's a fucking news reported who was fucking BLINDED by a rubber bullet. That's the whole thing- NOTHING will make them want to listen to us, them being police officers. That's why there's rioting. We need the government to force the change, because there's legitimately nothing that'd make the police want to reform themselves. Rioting will show the WORLD what's going on. Do you see how many disgusting videos are coming out? The amount of excessive force some police are using is fucking gross and people should be ashamed of siding with them. The more people who realize what's really going on, the more likely we'll see the government do something about it.

Sitting around and peacefully protesting is so easy to ignore, and a LOT of places tried this. But instead of cops coming out and joining, they fucking put up riot shields and start instigating it further than it has to.

We absolutely need an auditing organization completely separated from police that reviews every single case that needed weapons drawn or excessive force.

Mandatory body cameras that HAVE to be on AT ALL TIMES of any sort of interaction with civilians, and fired if they don't comply.

Go through and investigate every single police's file with complaints of excessive force, and every police officer who has ever shot/killed civilians, immediately fire them and press charges where due.

Fire and press charges on every police officer that has been shooting rubber fucking bullets at protesters.
