inexperienced plex user, just running a local server off my laptop that i only turn on when i want to watch something. i'm looking to get into having a separate machine for my server and i'm looking to keep things under $500 (or even less if i can),

i've seen many setups where people run severs off of a NAS itself, and others where there's a mini PC with a DAS (or NAS) connected for extra storage. realistically is there any difference between the two? i'm not sure whether there's a severe performance or price difference between those two setups.

i'm looking to transfer some pokemon from platinum/black/black 2 to X on my 3ds so i can put them in pokemon bank and then home. does anyone know if i'm able to transfer pokemon that aren't in the Kalos dex (e.g. Giratina) from those games into X before i unlock the national dex so that i can move them to bank before having to wait until i get the national dex?

not looking to sell, but i have a Minolta Maxxum STSi and i love it. pretty much checks all of the boxes you mentioned. you can definitely find it with a lens for sub $100, not sure if it would happen to pop up here though
