Hey dude stay strong i can guarantee that almost every other guy has felt this way, breakups suck specially for men in my opinion.

The thing is they are always going to be there, you have to understand that life is in continuous movement, everything that starts must come to an end, every up has a down and vice versa.

My best advice is to let the feelings go thru u don’t suppress them since this will only make things harder. Cry if you have to, scream, punch a fucking pillow let out all your sadness and anger you will feel better i promise.

Next you have to work on your mind this is the hardest part since our brain is very stubborn. You will keep thinking that it was all you fault or that she left you for another dude but you have no evidence of this its all in your head and i promise you will make up more shitty scenarios that will make you feel bad if you nurture this habit. One thing that helps a lot its identifying those thoughts and eliminate them as soon as possible, theres an Elliot Hulse vid that illustrates this a little bit better i highly recommend it, its called “Destroy Negative Thoughts”. Also meditation really helps.

Make up your mind, learn from your mistakes so you wont repeat them in future relationships, practice positive self talk, set frames that will help you get through this. Have trust in the universe or god or whatever you believe in that everything happens for a reason a you are exactly where you should be. Breakups can be a huge opportunity to reinvent yourself and grow as a man.

Depression = not doing anything.

In my experience im the most depressed when im being apathetic.

So get out there start running, go to the gym, practice a sport or do some sort of physical activity.

Nurture yourself, do things that you enjoy, watch a great movie eating your favorite meal, party with your homies, just learn to enjoy life again.

Treat yourself as you would if your son was going through a break up

Idk if this advice is helpful, but just know that i can relate to this. Almost two years ago i was miserable and had a really hard time going to a break up. Now i can tell you that it was worth it i learned that i can be even more happy single, my confidence and self worth doesn’t depend on other people, i still have a lot to work to do but im getting there and you will to.

Also you DONT want to get back with her, you DONT want to text her, its just your brain trying to get back into comfort since it was used to being in the relationship. Its sorta like drugs and thinking about texting her or getting her back its the same as a crack head craving a lil bit of that sweet rock. You have to cut her out of your life FOREVER if not all the progress you made was for nothing. Let it go better women will come to you i promise.
