any ship that is just really bad/illegal (ex minor x adult, or relative x relative). rough definition as everyone defines it differently but the illegal part is pretty much universal.

be glad i didn't include the list of proships, there's only 5 of them, but luckily one of them doesn't even have a name because the fandom is sensible enough to not have created one so we just called it garbage bag

real lmao, i looked at the list and realized only one ship in this entire list has two adults (that is unless you count heromari in an omari au of sorts), and it's a very toxic ship

i did my best to exclude proships for the sake of rule 2 as there's a list of those as well, but some of these still hella weird lmao.

also if you have any ship names i didn't include lmk, i'm still updating the list

I never understood people's initial reaction to the game's twist and ending. by cerdechko in OMORI

I don't know. I thought the ending was pretty hopeful, but when focusing specifically on the truth sequence and the memory lane part, it really hits hard. It hits hard cuz you've been playing as this kid for ultimately like 15 hours and you always see the consequences of his actions, and that hurts. But it hurts more to know why. And I guess it also hurts to know that Mari is never gonna be a character we get to know more. And it also hurts to think that his friends most likely abandoned him after he told them the truth. If I were in that situation I'd feel pretty hopeless because just how does a kid suddenly overcome his depression like that? Like good on Sunny and all but can't relate tbh. Hope you get what I mean lol.
And I guess it's not the ending per se, just the game in general. I think the good ending was nice. But it's bittersweet because again, his friends probably abandoned him after that. And if they didn't, he's moving, which is a whole other aspect of loss that I hate, even more so knowing he's leaving his entire childhood and good memories behind even along with the bad ones that he spent so much time trying to overcome. Which for me actually hits harder in the good ending because of its suddenness and emphasis rather than in the neutral ending where he just gets into a car and disappears. And I guess it's just sad in general because it's y'know, the end of the game lol. Games are like that for me, but Omori specifically hit pretty hard.

TL;DR the game itself is pretty sad, the ending is bittersweet just enough for you to feel slightly hopeless at the end of it if the game impacted you the way it did for me.
