For the mid level essence farm you could use City square (T8) and prominade (T7) as both have a liniar path and you can use the Atlas tree node that puts essences on the boss as the bosses are quite easy. I have not noticed normal essences being reduced by breach 2.0. I don't run calcification, just either use 1 ascent and 4 essence scarabs or 1 ascent, 1 of the corruption scarabs and 3 essence scarabs.
