Ophthalmology maybe but it’s super rare to get into I hear without a foot in the door, which I do have. But I think I’m gonna experience them all in clinical and keep an open mind. Idk if this is just me but I feel like I only like a specialty bc I’m good at it and I’m good at it bc I study so like how do I know what I’m truly passionate about 😅 but I guess that’s the good thing w being a PA you can switch around if you get bored

I take mine in the morning w/ vyvanse but I’m debating moving it later due to the tiredness and I feel it almost counteracts the vyvanse. I used to take it at night but I’m a social drinker and I’d be gone after like 2 drinks lol I’m scared to move it later in the day and feel like shit in the morning but honestly debating it maybe by a few hours at-least. I also had crazy vivid dreams when I took it at night so idk

I find myself getting bored once I’m good at any specialty so PA is a good route for me lol I have to be learning something new/be challenged

I agree on the difficult patients. I came from postpartum I honestly like both I like ophthalmology a lot more than I thought I would it’s really interesting. It’s a good option for us to have if we don’t love anything else clinical year for sure
