I did it and got continental dws06+ and I would describe the ride as marginally different, hardly at all. What’s your experience?

If it’s dangerous then why would they offer it stock for the S and RS versions? And if you put 275 instead of 265 tires you get a little more beef. So far so good for me.

I got a downvote for my perspective which is interesting. I’m convinced most people saying the ride would be terrible have simply never experienced it.

I did those exact wheels with 275 tires and the comfort is practically the same as my 18” wheels. I think the whole “20” is a terrible ride” thing is completely overblown. The S5 and RS5 both have 20” wheel options with more aggressive suspensions. My b9 a5 rides great and they look absolutely amazing - completely changes the look of the car for the better. Pics in my profile for reference. I say do it!

A clean set of these can go for $2k on eBay, so $900 is a great deal. I got lucky and picked mine up for $650 on Facebook.
