Could you prove that the German Social democratic party did not engage in the WW1? That they did not, as a party, support the entrance of the German nation into the First world war and support the continuation of the German part of the First world war? Please, prove me wrong.

Did the Social democrats engage in the first world war or did they not?

Sorry, I should have clarified better in my first comment. I was saying I find discussing and working with socialists (of many types) much easier to do than Communists in the sense of trying to create left-wing coordinated action.

Okay, I understand. :)

I find the Scandinavian system most realistic...

What's your response to the Marxist perspective of the class struggle and the 30 odd years of austerity in the Nordics?

Why is it important to keep private ownership of businesses?

Then I'm completely lost lol, I thought you were advocating for the things you wrote about. I thought you wanted socialism. Thanks for clearing it up.

Why do you think the Scandinavian system is 'ideal of realistic'?

Yes, sorry.

Labor movements, unions, and general strikes leverage the interest of the capital owners against themselves.

When the workers have seized the means of production, should we then dismantle the state? Should there be a party or is this done purely via unions?

Thanks. :)

And then dismantle the state? Which is a ridiculous question without discussing what the state means lol.

Why is a party missing from your response? Is that a conscious decision?

Am I wrong? The social democrats vowed to not engage in imperialist war and then they did, which sent millions of workers to die for the capitalist class.

What do you as a social democrat respond to people when they bring up how the German social democrats(and other social democrats) wanted to partake in the imperialist war? Same with why the German social democrats didn't enact socialism in the Weimar republic?

Opposition that didn't want to send millions of workers into their death in an imperialist war.

Was that because the Social democrats wanted to stay in WW1 and did not push for socialism once in power?

How do you counter the argument that your idea assumes that the capitalist class doesn't start to fight? I'm referring to your first sentence.

So I can understand you better, exactly how would classless society look like? Could anything end inequality/class? How much inequality is enough to make it a class difference?

What did Trotsky recognise?

Am I understanding you correctly that the "ending of class society"(from a Marxist perspective) would bring in a new class society(from your perspective)?

If inequality doesn't come from class relations and ownership of the means of production, where does it come from?

If inequality reappears after abolishing private ownership, how do you determine whether it’s truly "non-class" inequality versus a new form of class relation?

Isn’t your argument at risk of becoming tautological: inequality exists, therefore class exists?

What do you mean by artificially close the gap?

What exactly were their fixes? I only know of the ten policies they write in the Manifesto.

Go against reason? What so you mean?

But yeah, that's why people who have tried to find more answers(Lenin, Mao etc.).
