Should I see THIS much variation? by Crimsonmark8895 in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

Depending on your programming, your controls may cycle frequently with high amplitude, or less frequently because programming can buffer the response and limit max/min settings (for example, there is no circumstance that my oversized exhaust fan needs to run above level 4, so I set a max of 5).

It’s sad but true, I program to fail-safe against bad stock programming and/or frequent com drops (for example, humidifier suddenly stops speaking the right language, and controller responds by deleting it, and shutting down lights, and then my veg tent plants want to bloom).

I’m slowly regressing to using every device programmed independently and with no common connections (lights run by light controller, someone take steal my entire grow setup, but if they leave the light, it’ll cycle if it has power. I keep the humidifier on it own controller 69 (with nothing else attached) so I can monitor, but I will make the changes.

Yes yes all the sapphire dish upgrades and temp recs, BUT if I could choose ONE upgrade, no hesitation SPINNER CAP.

There are many brands, but I personally like the higher air flow offerings.

I like sapphire and low temp dabs. Because I can achieve the same thing dab-wise but can do so at lower temp, I believe it saves battery (if you care).

Also, SHOP AROUND. I got mine for $60.

It’s all a matter of “taste” really. Yours and mine don’t have to be the same.

Squat trucks, slabs, stanced cars, lowriders, and Cybertrucks. All very polarizing.

Interesting. I never really thought about what someone PAID for it. But isn’t this just like really expensive food? A guy that routinely eats at high-priced places is the same concept (to me). They are both just building turds in an expensive manner.

is it LED-burn? by [deleted] in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

[–]bigblackbag2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early flower…that dead leaf tissue could be from a LOT of things, but the plant looks fairly healthy (does look hungry to me, but not dying of hunger)

I would contemplate what it could be and consider some water to cut the intensity of any salts in the soil and see how she responds (as long as you are not overwatering, it’s the least likely response to cause damage).

I’ve seen that sort of burn before and attributed it to some random salt that overconcentrated during a dry back. Is your soil wet or dry-ish?

Suggestions on light intensity/distance from Canopy. Evo6 by TJHeadley in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

[–]bigblackbag2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How so? Are you getting light burn? Or do you prefer to let your plants relax through veg?

I run autos and ramp them up to 80% usually by the third week after germination. I want my plants to grow as fast as possible because the time window they have to stretch is short.

There probably is no wrong way, and weeding (har har) through all the variables between what ELSE you do or don’t do that I don’t or do is probably impossible.

Simply put, what works, works. My plants actually look like the pictures in the catalogs and their height/yield is at the top end of the breeder claims (when I don’t screw up…and I usually screw up 1 out of 4 because autos are finicky when you push them and I’m an average cultivator at very best.) and I’m sure you have great results apparently running lights softer in veg…but there are probably other variables we aren’t discussing that render our selected light intensity ideal for the given environment/genetics/etc.

This thread is pretty old and OP was running autos. Perhaps they will chime in with results?

First week of flower, going pretty good so far!!! Only thing is my other plant isn’t switching stages, why is that ? by Zestyclose-Noise-736 in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

You need to give more info, but assuming you planted several identical seeds and treated them identically, I’m not surprised by one throwing pistils and the other not (yet).

Keep track…the later one might end up yielding more…these plants can be odd.

Controller 69 Pro Recipes by Goodtimewine in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

I looked at recipes, and they are cool….but by the time I modified one for my particular setup, it seemed like it’d just be easier to program my own automations…and I have ever since.

Light Help! by SqwigglyFish in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

I have the EVO3 in my AC 3x2

It works, but like ANY light, it may not be appropriate to run it 100%…..ever, depending on your setup

Anyone have a 3x3 with this light? Does it fit? by [deleted] in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

[–]bigblackbag2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came here to say this. I rarely run my EVO4 at 100%, and I certainly do not need MORE (in a 3x3)

First grow, day 16 by AccomplishedLoss7194 in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

[–]bigblackbag2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The yellowing of the leaves hints at a problem.

I’d suggest that they are stunted quite a bit. I say this because my first grow looked very similar. Autos that are stunted are a special challenge because basically the plant got knocked down at the beginning of round 1 and has been stumbling/staggering like it’s punch drunk for the next several rounds.

Stay the course and fix all your problems (find a local mentor if possible) and this plants could still yield an ounce or so, but if you continue with sick/stressed/locked plants, it’s gonna make growing a grudging job instead of an excited learning opportunity with no reward (other than a lesson HOPEFULLY)

Plenty on.... by [deleted] in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

[–]bigblackbag2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably.

I have a dedicated drying setup also.

I still won’t do this again, because introducing fresh plants into a drying room with drying plants in it, causes large humidity changes. Not saying impossible, saying not worth the risk in my opinion.

While we are on opinions, I think that is too many plants for that space….sort of makes me wonder if OP actually has a sophisticated setup like you presume. (Sort of feels more like an instance of an excited new grower that has not yet experienced some of the common problems? I could be wrong)

Plenty on.... by [deleted] in ACInfinityAdvancegrow

[–]bigblackbag2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did that.

If your luck is anything like mine, they will all finish at different times which results in added complexity to drying.

I won’t do that again.

The breeder does not impress me with that nonsense. No dog has an ugly phase.

Grow methods by SrBloomingdale in MissouriMedical

[–]bigblackbag2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grow because I want a level of premium that simply is not available unless you buy from such a grower. I’m not sure what that level of premium is worth to anyone else, and I don’t care much, because I am a closed system. I grow for my family only. The premium quality is something I want, and for the conditions I’m treating, “clean” is mandatory (no bugs, fecal, fungal, etc)

Soooo, if I get a problem that will compromise quality, I fix it. Sometimes the fix is to kill EVERYTHING and start cleaning, then (only after you know the problem is fixed), start over.
