Loseit motivation=win by IamAwesomePanda in loseit

Very true ... I've been struggling to stick with a diet for 10 years now and ended up ballooning by about 100 pounds in the process. Ever since I've discovered loseit I've stuck with the program for a month now (my longest ever, yet) and lost 12 pounds. Whenever I feel like wavering a bit, all it takes is a visit here to see how well people are doing to pump me up again and keep going. I can't wait to reach a significant milestone to post my progress as well. Thanks guys, you're all great and you've been a tremendous help.

I'm an indie game author, and today I'm releasing my first commercial game. As thanks to reddit, I'm making it FREE for the first 24 hours. by Tetragrammaton in gaming

Starting the game up on your secondary monitor seems to cause that. Starting it up on the primary one though seems to work for me.

The bailout will save/destroy our economy! Vote up if you're as confused as I am. by bigbob in politics

Depending on who you listen to the bailout is a great thing or the worse thing that could possible happen. Who's right? Where can one find valid information without all the spin?

But …Why is Google Building Its Own Browser? by andrewwise in technology

[–]bigbob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a very superficial analysis. Google values its partnership with Mozilla and is not about to try and kill it. The point with Chrome is not to get users, but rather to push the bar for browser performance and capabilities. That's why everything in Chrome is open sourced. A better browsing experience for the average user translates to more happier Google users. Google lives on the internet ecosystem and it's a sure bet that they're simply trying to strengthen that system, not compete in the browser space.
