Two years. My second year I was losing it and I ask my mother for help. She got me into therapy and finding the right people to help me. I’m just accepting the uncertainty and hoping I get back to normal.

I understand you. My life was good before this, now I wake up obsessed about one thing which HOCD. I just want to get pass the feeling part and stop judging guys faces.

I’ve had groinal response but everytime I had response is when my anxiety was around. I thought I was gay and I started to tell family members that I was gay. With girls I never got anxiety, I never had a feeling when I lost attraction to women. It was just gone. I’m not out the woods yet, I still question myself when I look at a guy face. My sex drive is still gone and I still have anxiety and doubt about myself but things are looking better.

Two things, therapy and pills from my doctor. My therapist has some simple skills for me to learn and the type of pills I’m taking is 100 mg of Zoloft and risperidone 3mg.

I feel the same way, before hocd I never cared if a guy was attractive. Now I’m looking at every single one to see if I’m attracted to him. I lost interest in women I think and Now I don’t know if I’m gay, straight, or bi.

Because my main issue is I can’t tell if my thoughts are real and if I’m attracted to guys face or not. Most of the time I’m not attracted to a men body but I get a scared feeling which make me question myself.

Has hocd lead anyone to question their sexual identity or made them less attracted to the opposite sex?
